Progress over the weekend while we were out. The bench/coat rack half of the built-in was erected. The tops are not nailed down which is good 'cause we don't want any overhang, especially on the side facing the stairs. Of course it could be just that Drew has only rough cut the wood and has them sitting there. He also put up one of the shelving units that extend from the kitchen. The brackets are sunk into the drywall so when they are covered up the shelves will appear to float - a nice touch.
